Mount Moriah Center is a non-denominational Biblical-centered institution situated in Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Nairobi, Kenya. We are committed to providing training that tackles the problem of unemployment, idleness, and breakdown of moral standards and empowers members of my community.

1. Provide unemployed people with knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques for transforming themselves into productive members of society.
2. Empower people in slums, villages, colleges, churches, youth, and women groups to start and manage their businesses.

Our Story
The idea of starting Mount Moriah Center was conceived in the
the year 2014, being a community leader and delegate of Nairobi
Slum Leaders Assembly Representing Mukuru Slums area
with over 300,000 people covering a 12 km squared, area
within the highest death rate from alcohol and drug abuse
related deaths, leading in Nairobi county and second to Juja
in the whole county, amongst the leading areas in
breakdown of moral standards, and with these statistics of 36% of Kenya
population being youths,67 % of them unemployed,92% of
the unemployed youths lack vocational or professional
skills, over 60 % of new HIV infections are youths, over
50%of convicted criminals are young men aged 16-23 years
of age and 23 % of young girls between 15-19 years are
pregnant or already mother,
I could not sit back and burry my head under the sun,
something had to be done to save this vital generation and
the situation, I decided to start the Mount Moriah Center to help to solve
self-reliance, unemployment and idleness amongst my
community and this is how the program was started to
promote entrepreneurship in my community,
